Organiser

Archer Street
Archer Street is an experiential cocktail bar with three locations based in London; Soho, Notting Hill and Clapham Junction. We are the perfect venue for like-minded Londoners looking for a fun party cocktail bar that feels like a home away from home. We serve delicious, hand crafted cocktails and embrace a high energy atmosphere with our Archer Street team. All our performers are all talented and professional singers from West End shows, song and dance academies and professional theatre. Both venues are home to two floors with our ground floor cocktail bars and basement bars that are themed seasonally. The themed bars lend themselves to an amazing private hire space for birthday parties, corporate events and other celebrations. We offer an overall feel of a member’s bar without the membership and a night out that is unique to London.

Venue

Archer Street Soho

Archer Street is very much a Soho bar with two personalities. You'll find this elegant West End hangout has all the hallmarks of a hotel bar, with a gentle yet sophisticated buzz upon entry. It has an exclusive, stylish feel to it, but without the members club policy. They serve deliciously well…

On arrival at 1340 the doors to the venue were open however no sign of any staff As if was due to start at 1400hrs we decided to enter. On entering we were abruptly informed to leave as it didn't start until 1400hrs . We left. We decided to wait outside. More and more people began to arrive. The street where the bar is situated is very narrow and it was becoming problematic as no teal queue or any sense of order was in place. During these 20 minutes staff were arriving and we were met with various ,out the way , scuse and move!. Once in we had to wait for another 30 mins for any food or drink to arrive. The singing was great and the staff are clearly talented however the overall experience has left me feeling I won't bother to attend another one nor would I recommend to any friends or colleagues. Treated like cattle

The entertainment was great… However the food was really bad, the pizzas were few and far between and we had to ask multiple times when we wanted any more. I could see the table next to me saying they wanted more but didn’t know how to get any and desperately trying to catch someone’s eye so it wasn’t just us. Also the quality of the food was really bad. I have been to a lot of bottomless brunches in London at this price range and this was by far the worst food I have had at one. I can’t remember his name but the guy doing the hosting was great and made the day for us.
